If you had the opportunity, would you listen to book on an ipod or Mp3 player?
Would you participate in an online discussion regarding that book?

If I had an opportunity to listen to a book on an ipod or Mp3 player than I probably would because only some books that I read are boring but thats only because of the genres. I would probably read a book if it was a more interesting genre. I might participate on an online dissicussion regarding that book only if it was people I know. But if the discussion was with people that I don't know then I would not partipate in this online discussion.

Yes , we should have tests like the MCAS becasue it helps us learn more and it helps us get into college . it is a big part of our lives if we fail this is sets our future and lets us know if we are gunna have a good career ! we should have the MCAS because its what the state requires and i think that is a very good idea because if we get a good grade then we get a better chance of getting a good career that you want and a better chance of getting into a good college!

Today's question: Should there be required tests like the MCAS? Why or why not?
I think there shouldnt be required testing because it adds stress to kids lifes and kids shouldnt have stress. Also I think its not right because what if that test is not there strong point.

I think there shouldnt be an Mcas becase it puts to much pressure on the students who take it like me. In the tenth grade it should be required to take to pass but in seventh grade it is point less and takes up time. It also aggrivates the students when they dont know the answer and it is worth alot.

I think that there shouldn't be an MCAS in middle school but there should be one in high school . I think this because it helps student sprepare fo SATs and other tests.

I think there should be MCAS testing but it shouldnt count until high school. It would be to test the kids on what they learned that year and it would not be on things that they didnt know. It would count in 9th grade and 10th grade and it wouldnt depend if you passed high school or not. It would also be to test the teachers on if they were actually teaching kids the stuff they need to learn.

Ummmm.....Mcas isnt good because it makes kids feel bad about them self and its really hard. EVENTUALLY people shouldnt get tested....FOR HOW SMART THEY ARE IT DOESNT MATTER. Bottom line. mcas isnt good.

Mcas isnt good beacause it waste math L.A. S.S. and science and we could be learning. It takes up a lot of time of the day and it is really boring when you are done and you have to wait for every one to be done.

Yes, because if we didn't have MCAS and we went to college we would fail.So even though it is hard, people should study and pass it knowing you know the material.

There shouldn't be MCAS until ninth grade so we can pass it in 10th grade. I think starting when we started (3rd grade) was way too early. So i think that we should only have it in 9th and 10th grade to pass

I think that we should have tests such as MCAS because we need to pass it in 10th grade. but i don't think that we should have in so many times. I think that we should only have it two or three years before 10th grade.

Even though MCAS is stressful sometimes, I think that we should have MCAS because it will prepare us for our up coming school years. Also because it will help us graduate high school and boost us for college.

yes, because if there wasn't then the state wouldn't know if students needed to have extra help learning or not.
